Who we are
Benefit & Joy is a registered charity in Muenster, Germany. Since 2007 our main target is to fight against poverty in Europe. Material poverty causes a lack of education leading to a cross-generational loop. In the beginning poverty may occur as just a regional problem but in fact there are no “real” borders in a globalized world: everything is connected and interdependent.
We believe in a strong Europe. One is only as strong as the weakest part of the chain.For that reason we help where poverty is still omnipresent: in Eastern Europe, especially in rural areas.
Charity Rocks!
We believe in the positive influence of music. It easily crosses borders and brings people together, no matter where they live, how old they are or which social background they may come from. Benefit & Joy wants to use this charisma for doing good.The idea and motivation came from Jon Bon Jovi, who has been supporting us since 2007. He and his band support people who are doing good and as Jon says, he likes to throw his own spotlight on such people, so that they can reach their goals.
What we do
We rely on responsible, sustainable help to self-help through many different aid projects.
For example:
- Collection, transport and distribution of (kind) donations
- Renovation and building of houses
- Establishmernt of computer labs
- Medical care
- Support fo public institutions(schools, kindergartens, zoos, etc.)
How we work
Our aid projects are both organized and realised voluntary and without any administrative costs. In this way we can not only guarantee a high level of flexibility, but above all a transparent and specific use of every single donation. Every aid project is peronally carried out by us and we also accompany it over many years. We always work together with the local people in order to achieve sustainable results.
So we guarantee that the donations will be used exclusively for people in need. Furthermore, we instantly hope that through these intercultural meetings, we can make a contribution to the integration of Europe.
