Benefit & Joy Back in Bulgaria Part I

Benefit & Joy has again visited the Haskovo region / Ljubimec in Bulgaria. We met the mayor of the small village Losen, who explained in detail what has to be done to rebuild the ground floor of the local kindergarten. The walls are dump, the windows are very old, which leads to a very bad condition of the building and also means that it actually cannot be used for the children. There will be serious attempts made by the local government in the near future to raise money from both public and European funds. Benefit & Joy is ready to help as much as we can.The little village with 400 inhabitants (formally 1.500) is examplary for the situation of the rural areas in whole Eastern Europe.
