Fire Victim Mihaita: Amazing News
Last Wednesday (30th of July) fire victim Mihaita from Romania had his next visit at the children’s hospital (Cologne). Dr. med. Nikos Marathovouniotis (Children’s Hospital Cologne) and orthopaedic technician Marc Roy (medical supply store Malzkorn, Cologne) were totally amazed when they saw the actual condition of Mihaita’s skin. The scars he is suffering from since 2012 (due to a fire) are in a very good condition. From now on he will not have to wear any compression clothing on his legs! During the next 6 months he will continue to wear some compression clothing on his arms and face (the new compression clothing will be handcrafted and donated by Mr. Roy – medical supply store Malzkorn, Cologne: thank you so much!).
Maybe later on we can think of some cosmetic treatments of the scars, but at the moment it is just brilliant to hear that Mihaita has no movement restrictions at all. This great success is also due to Mihaita’s mother Carmen. She keeps on massaging in lotions four times a day and she is doing everything she can to help Mihaita getting well.
The Benefit & Joy team is so happy about this great success! We would not be able to go on with our work if we wouldn’t receive so much support. Thanks to everyone who keeps supporting us with donations. Our special thanks goes to
